Anxious

As a family we have been looking forward to our Disneyland trip.  I must say, it was so much fun!  I loved every minute of it.  We actually stayed for the fireworks this year, a first for us, and they were amazing!  Definitely worth the wait and the crowd.   Anywho, it was very enjoyable and I miss it.  I'm the type of person who gets very sad when I arrive home and realize life must go on as it normally does.  Life is not a vacation.  Kids have to return to school, dishes need to be done, laundry is not going to do itself and the neighbor does not want to watch your out-of-control dog for the rest of her life.  I wish!

So, to bring back the excitement, I'm focusing on what's to come.  First things first, my brother is graduating from Medical school next week and I get to go with my parents and sister.  Yay!  I'm very excited for this fun trip because I have never been to Missouri and we are also making a trip to Arkansas to see an uncle I have only met once in my life.  These places may not sound exciting, but I am pumped!  I might also be making a trip to Tennessee and that makes me happy!

The next event...School is out on May 19th!  This is probably the best part for me.  No more waking at 4:50am to make it to the gym before school starts.  I can probably push it back to 6.  Also, my yearly trip back home to Idaho always makes me happy!

One more thing that I'm very excited for is a movie that comes out in July.  My favorite thing to do, ever, is go to the movies and get a popcorn with nacho cheese cheddar seasoning and a Coke Zero.  Heaven, I tell you!  It doesn't even matter the movie, but in this case, the movie is very appealing to me.  Why?  Two words:  Ryan Gosling.  Enough said.  To make it even better, his costar is Steve Carrell.  The movie is Crazy, Stupid, Love and it can't come out soon enough!  If you can't tell, Ryan Gosling is my favorite.  Put together, popcorn, Coke Zero and Ryan Gosling and I'm happy.

Enough about me.  What are you looking forward to this summer?  Any exciting plans?  Please, do share!

  3. We are looking forward to coming out to see family in AZ and also Utah. Somedays I feel like my life is a vacation, but then remember I have laundry & dishes as well. You and Heidi need to come visit me out here. Come set up a display of the pretty poppy merchandise and call it a business trip. MUCH needed one at that.
